How do I get started?

XiaoqilinAPI is an OpenAI-compatible API. Simply set your base_url to https://xiao-qilin.com/v1, then create an API Key in the Console and use it as your bearer token. No separate SDK or extra configuration is required — most OpenAI-compatible clients work as-is.

Where can I find the model IDs?

Model IDs are listed in real time in the Model Square. Model availability and IDs can change, so always check Model Square and avoid hard-coding model IDs into your application.

Do you support streaming, tool calls, embeddings, and images?

Yes. As an OpenAI-compatible gateway, these features are available whenever the model you select supports them. Each model page in the Model Square describes the capabilities of that model.

How much credit do I get on signup? How do I top up?

New accounts receive a $1 welcome credit to try the service. When you need more, top up via our payment platform from the Console — purchases start at $20.

Are my prompts stored?

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how prompts and other data are handled.

Which regions are supported?

Our services are available to overseas users. In accordance with our Terms of Service, residents of mainland China and users in sanctioned regions are not served.

What should I include in a support request?

Include the timestamp, the endpoint called, the HTTP status code, and the request ID of the failed request. You may also include a redacted response. For your security, never include a full API Key in a support request.
